On 2 December 2021, was held an online conference on “Tackling climate change: a discussion of emissions trading systems in Europe and LATAM” organized by AIJA.
In this session, French lawyer Ansam Okbani* provided input regarding ships’ emissions and discussed international regulations. This was a timely conference and attracted considerable interest from the attendees.

*Ansam Okbani is a French Attorney-at-Law, she advises and handles litigation in matters in connection with the maritime practice (arrest of ships, carriage of goods, insurance, yachting, customs), freight forwarding and road haulage. She co-founded the French branch of YoungShip International and organizes with the team conferences in Paris and Marseille. She’s Vice-President of AIJA Transport Law Commission.
